Huntingdon Drama Club's next production will tell the fascinating story of Farm Hall in Godmanchester.

Farm Hall by Katherine Moar tells the true story of a group of German nuclear scientists who, during the latter days of the Second World War, were captured and detained at Farm Hall in Godmanchester.

Allied intelligence bugged every room in the house to try and discover how far advanced Nazi plans were for an atomic bomb.

The cast visited the house recently to walk in the footsteps of the characters they will portray in the play, which runs from July 17-20 at The Commemoration Hall, in Huntingdon.

They were joined for the visit by a special guest - Dr Rudolf Duehmke, the son-in-law of the play’s director Jacqueline Spencer.

Dr Duehmke is also the grandson of Erich Bagge, one of the German scientists who was detained at Farm Hall during Operation Epsilon.

Tickets are on sale now via: ticketsource.co.uk/huntsdramaclub and can also be purchased at the Commemoration Hall Visitor Centre (cash only) during opening hours.
