Nearly 800 people attended the St Neots Model Railway Club exhibition in The Priory Centre on Saturday June 15.
Jackie Kneeshaw, exhibition manager, said: "Considering we have moved from October to June for one year only due to The Priory Centre planned closure for refurbishment, we were delighted with the number of attendees which is just a bit less than last year.
"Thank you to St Neots Town Council Community Group Grant Scheme for helping to fund the extensive marketing and advertising.”
Visitors were asked to vote for the best layout and Cato Inferno by Laurie Calvert, a sci-fi layout with special effect flames on a moon of Saturn, won the shield.
This was presented by Mayoress Clair Slade and deputy Mayor Rob Simonis.
The show is booked to return on 11 October 2025 subject to the refurbishments being finished.
