Huntingdon Carnival and Live in the Park will return on August 10 and 11.

The two-day event, which is free to enter, will see radio station HCR104fm broadcasting live.

Beginning at noon behind the Town Hall, the carnival's procession will journey through the town to The Riverside Park.

Attendees can anticipate a Lancaster bomber fly past by the British Memorial Flight on both days.

Another feature, following its success last year, will be the display of over 20 classic cars from St Ives-based Drive For Cancer group.

The festival will include usual attractions such as charity and craft stalls, arena entertainment, food and a bar, inflatables, and an expanded selection of fair rides.

The following day, Live in the Park will feature up to seven local bands playing from noon until 7pm.

The event chairs are appealing for new volunteers, stall holders, and parade participants.

For sponsorship opportunities, stall hire or to join the carnival's team, interested parties should contact the Carnival chairman, Bill Hensley.
