A Class C drug was seized by Cambridgeshire Police officers in Huntingdonshire last week (July 4).

Officers were out in Oxmoor last Thursday when a member of the public directed them to a bag. It was filled with cannisters of Nitrous Oxide, better known as Laughing Gas.

Laughing Gas is a Class C drug, and it's an offence to possess it unless it can be shown that it's for medical, dental or veterinary reasons.

The eight cannisters have been seized by Cambridgeshire Police and the force have expressed their appreciation to the public for all their help.
