Steve Legg has been named as the new president of the Huntingdon Cromwell Rotary Club.
Steve says he is "honoured" to take up the role and continue the good work of outgoing president Dee Wormwald.
He was presented with the chain of office at a meeting which took place on Sunday (July 7).
He said: "With the support of a great team, this is an opportunity to develop new projects, create new ideas and to continue the great work we have already carried in our local community and farther afield.
"We will be working with and supporting Magpas Air Ambulance, Huntingdon Youth Theatre, local primary schools, Lendwithcare, Cambridgeshire Constabulary Amateur Boxing club and the many other charities and groups which we already support.
"Promoting Rotary in our local community will be key to us welcoming new members into a worldwide community of volunteers."
