A Brampton care home was the hub of creativity recently, welcoming craft enthusiasts to join in on interactive sessions.

The event was part of the nationwide Care Home Open Week, illuminating the exceptional work care homes accomplish countrywide.

Montague House Care Home was ecstatic to host sessions conducted by Fiona and Gray Adley of Crafts4Smiles.

Elder resident Robert Ward, 84, engaged in the crafts alongside his grandson, four-year-old Harry.

"I have never done anything like this before, and look how good I am, I have hidden this talent for years.”

Jacqueline Brown, the customer relations manager, praised the session leaders.

Miss Brown said: “Fiona and Gray were brilliant, they were very patient and allowed us to all take our time.
