Residents of a Huntingdonshire town are invited to have their say about plans for a new housing development that could be built on their doorstep.
The Little Barford Garden Community is a proposed development that would sit north east of Bedford. However, it would also sit next to St Neots southwards.
The development is part of Bedford Borough Council's plan to deliver a new community of around 4,000 new homes under its Local Plan.
While it's not under the jurisdiction of Cambridgeshire County Council, the site is a stones throw away from St Neots and will likely impact residents.
As it stands, the East Coast Main Line railway runs through the proposed site. The future relief road between the A428 Black Cat Roundabout and Caxton Gibbet will also sit closely to the land.
The Little Barford Garden Community will be north of the proposed East West Rail Tempsford Station.
Lands Improvement, the team behind the Little Barford Garden Community, are keen to hear the views and perspectives of those living around the area as they begin Stage One of the project.
On Saturday, July 13, representatives from Lands Improvement will be at the St Neots Farm and Craft Market in the Market Square from 9am until 1pm.
There, residents will be able to speak with the developers and share their opinion on the proposal.

In the autumn of this year the developers hope to commence Stage Two of the project which will see Community Workshops take place.
The workshops will aim to help the Lands Improvement team work out which local ideas to take forward into Stage Three of the project, the Supplementary Planning Document Consultation.
If you would like to register your interest in attending a Community Workshop, you can do so by visiting the Little Barford Garden Community website, or by clicking here.
