Road closures are set to take place from July 17 on various roads in Huntingdonshire while work continues on the A428 Black Cat to Caxton Gibbet.

National Highways will be putting closures in place on the A428, the A1 and Cambridge Road in Eltisley.

Here are the upcoming road closures from the week of July 17:

A428 and Cambridge Road closures

  • Wednesday, July 17 to Friday, July 19: Overnight road closure of A248 between B1040 St Ives Road and Caxton Gibbet Roundabout, and Cambridge Road in Eltisley between 8pm and 5am
  • Monday, July 22 to 7am on Saturday, July 27: Full road closure (day and night) of Cambridge Road, Eltisley
  • Monday, July 29 to Friday, August 2: Temporary two-way lights on Cambridge Road, Eltisley between 8am and 6pm
  • Saturday, August 3 to Monday, August 5: Full weekend closure A428 between B1040 St Ives Road and Caxton Gibbet Roundabout, and Cambridge Road, Eltisley

  • A1 Southbound, Black Cat roundabout to Sandy: Overnight closure from 9pm on Friday, July 12 to 5am Saturday, July 13
  • A1 Southbound Black Cat roundabout to Sandy: Overnight closure from 9pm on Thursday, July 18 to 5am on Friday, July 19
  • A1 Northbound, Sandy to Black Cat roundabout: Overnight closure from 9pm on Monday, July 29 to 5am on Tuesday, July 30
