A lifelong railroad fanatic had a birthday to remember after he travelled back in time to the 1920s.
Ken Stokoe is a resident at the Henbrook House care home in St Neots. He's always loved rail travel and was treated to a special themed day out for his 87th birthday.
Ken and a group of his close friends enjoyed afternoon tea on a 1920s-style train carriage. There were high-back armchairs, classic décor and a fully stocked café and bar.
The 87-year-old was given another special treat, custom-made steam train cake from the chefs at Henbrook House.
The celebrations didn't stop there, as Ken then enjoyed a round of outdoor bowls, his favourite meal - steak and chips - and a trip to a model railway exhibition.

Brian Moore, Events Manager at Henbrook House, reflects on the day: "Ken’s birthday was a truly special moment for the home.
"When we started to plan the day, we knew that trains were going to feature heavily. Ken's enthusiasm for the 'good old days' of rail travel is truly infectious.
"So, we set ourselves the goal of bringing that world back to life for him as much as we could — even if only for an afternoon!"
