A care home is inviting residents to a musical afternoon complete with homemade scones.
St Ives, Care UK's Field Lodge will host the event from 3pm on July 25.
The home hopes to bring together community members for live music from Soprano Karen England, one half of The Operababes, and Organist and Pianist Mark Burton.
Freya's Little Bakery and Field Lodge's head chef will provide traditional teatime treats.
Home manager Linda Martinez said: “We’re thrilled to be welcoming local people for an afternoon of songs and scones.
“We’re part of a strong community here in St Ives, and we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces – and some new ones – and showing people exactly what life is like here at Field Lodge.
“Our songs and scones afternoon is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together with residents and enjoy beautiful music while savouring delicious treats.
"We’re sure we’ll get booked up quickly, so please get in touch to secure your place.”
