Carpetright is set to shut two of its stores in Cambridgeshire following the news that the company has gone into administration.
The flooring retailer confirmed that more than 200 stores will shut, including its stores in Huntingdon and Wisbech.
The Peterborough Carpetright store has been saved in a rescue deal by rival retailer, Tapi. That store, along with 53 others, will re-open as a Tapi carpet shop.
The closure of more than 200 shops also means more than 1,000 people will face redundancy.
The company confirmed that orders placed at the Huntingdon and Wisbech stores will not be completed.
It's recommended that affected customers contact their payment card provider about the possibility of obtaining a refund.

Zel Hussain, joint administrator at PwC and Carpetright, said that it is "deeply saddening" that the Carpetright workforce will lose their jobs.
He added: "Carpetright has fallen victim to challenges facing many retailers, especially those selling big ticket items.
"A mixture of factors, including a big reduction in consumer spending due to cost of living pressures, lower home sales and a debilitating cyber attack made it impossible for the business to continue in its current form."
