A renowned local councillor has taken over as president of Huntingdon Rotary Club.
Mike Baker, known for his extensive involvement in charity work, was handed the presidential badge by his predecessor, Peter Downes.
With a lifelong educational career at Hinchingbrooke School under his belt, Mr Baker is highly recognised for running the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
On his plans for the year, Baker revealed a commitment towards continuing the Rotary's successful fund-raising for local, national, and international causes.

Mr Baker said: "It would be easy to feel overwhelmed by the tragedies unfolding in many parts of the world but we must continue to focus our energy on providing practical help wherever we can."
The Huntingdon Rotary Club meets for lunch on Thursdays at The George Hotel.
