St Neots is set for nearly two weeks worth of road closures as improvement works continue in the town centre and Market Square.
As part of the improvement project being carried out by Huntingdonshire District Council, resurfacing works will take place on some of the roads in the town.
The works will take place on the week beginning August 12 and overnight road closures will be in place.
Which roads will be closed?
- St Neots Road (Crosshall Road roundabout to the High Street)
- High Street
- Church Street (High Street to Church View)
- Huntingdon Street (High Street to East Street)
- South Street
- Cambridge Street (Huntingdon Street to Lidl)
- New Street (High Street to W&H Peacocks Auction House)
When will the roads be closed?
The work will begin on Monday, August 12 and will be completed by Friday, August 23, from 8pm to 6am. The roads will be open on the weekends.
The resurfacing works will take place under a full road closure. Cambridgeshire County Council has confirmed that a diversion route will be in place during the works.
Motorists are being requested not to park on the road or the footways whilst work is in progress.
