Students are celebrating their "fantastic" GCSE results at St Ivo Academy today (August 22).
The St Ives school saw a number of Grade 9 (A**) and Grade 8 (Grade A*) results across the board in 2024, which Principal Tony Meneaugh said he is "so proud" of.
Some of the high performers at St Ivo Academy are:
- Aimee Strong - Seven 9s and three 8s
- Matthew Yates - Eight 9s, one 8 and one 7
- Sophie Canning - Six 9s and three 8s
- Freya Hartley - Six 9s, one 8 and one Distinction
- Jason Pigg - Five 9s, three 8s and one 7
- Jessica Barker - Four 9s, three 8s, one 7 and one Distinction
- Lloyd Monk - Four 9s, three 8s and two 7s
- Zeynep Ozcelik - Four 9s, five 8s, one 7 and one 6
- Jessica Bateman - Four 9s, one 8, one 7, two 6 and one Distinction
- Madeleine Redpath - Three 9s, three 8s, one 7 and two 6s
Tony Meneaugh, Principal at the St Ivo Academy said: "I am so proud of our amazing students and want to say well done to them all.
"This is another set of fantastic results from our students who have put so much effort and hard work into their exams.
"I have loved seeing so many happy and smiling faces in our school corridors today and I know these young people absolutely deserve the grades they’ve received."
A spokesperson for the Astrea Academy Trust said: "Staff at the St Ivo Academy have gone above and beyond to ensure their students were as prepared as possible for their GCSEs.
"The extra support paid off with many students achieving excellent results."
