An inquest has been opened into the death of a 24-year-old Cambridgeshire man who died in a single-vehicle collision in Scotland.
Lewis Soden was one of three men who died after a white Ford Focus they were travelling in crashed near the village of Dunmore, in Falkirk.
The incident happened on the evening of Friday, July 26.
Caroline Jones, one of the area coroners for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, has now opened an inquest into Mr Soden’s death.
At the brief hearing, she said: “As a consequence of the matter occurring in Scotland, we are still awaiting confirmation from Police Scotland about any police prosecution that may well follow...
“... therefore the matter, which is listed before my fellow coroner Mr Milburn, is likely to be suspended and I therefore adjourn the inquest until a date to be fixed.”
Ms Jones added: “I extend my condolences to the family of Lewis Soden.”

The inquest opening was held at Lawrence Court, in Huntingdon, on Thursday (August 22).
Days after the tragedy, Mr Soden’s family released a loving tribute saying he “will forever be a much-loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend to many”.
Their statement said: “There will not be a day where Lewis won't be missed and where we won’t hold room in our hearts to remember him and the memories that we all made together.
“We would also like to express our thanks to all the emergency services, witnesses and to everyone who has sent their condolences."
Reece Williams, 23 and Connor Page, 21, also died in the incident. It has not been revealed where they are from.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, was taken to Forth Valley Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Sergeant Elaine Scott, from Police Scotland, has asked for witnesses or anyone with dash-cam footage from the area at the time to come forward.
