A popular pub renowned for its "quality, home cooked food" is looking for new tenants.
The Oliver Cromwell, on Wellington Street, in St Ives, has been marketed by brewery Wells and Co, who describe it as a "modern, quirky pub which is the place to be".
In July, the pub announced it had been forced to close its kitchen due to financial struggles.
In a statement, the owners said they had "tried everything but financially it just isn't working."
They added: "Thank you, everyone, for all your support over the last five years, especially all our wonderful staff members.
"Some good news, though - the bar remains open! We hope to see you all for a drink very soon!"
Wells and Co, which runs almost 200 pubs across England and France, described suitable applicants as people with experience in the industry.
A Grade II listed building, the Oliver Cromwell boasts a "cozy, patio garden" and three-bedroom accommodation.
The building was also refurbished to a "high standard" in November 2021.
A statement from the listing said: "Situated in a desirable location on the fringe of the town centre, a short distance from the picturesque quayside of the river Great Ouse, the Oliver Cromwell is a semi-detached 18th Century property brimming with both charm and potential.
"Renowned locally for quality, home-cooked food using the locally-sourced ingredients prepared in-house, the pub’s menu is complimented by a strong selection of cask ales, making it a hit with diners and drinkers alike. It's popularity is not confined to affluent local residents; with strong transport links to the surrounding area.
"The pub is equally attractive to the wider population of St Ives and its surrounding villages. With plenty of scope to grow its food offer, the Oliver Cromwell’s already strong reputation in the area is only the beginning for this fantastic pub."
The pub listing is available to view in full on the Wells & Co website.
