A major Cambridgeshire road has shut following a serious crash this morning (August 29).
Police closed the A1198 from Caxton Roundabout to St Ives Road near Papworth Everard.
There is also a closure on Ermine Street South as a result of the incident. The crash was first reported at around 4.45am.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "We were called at 4.42am today with reports of a single vehicle collision in Ermine Street South in Papworth Everard.
"The road remains closed from the Caxton Gibbet to the roundabout south of Papworth Everard and closed from there to the roundabout for the B1040. Ermine Street South is also closed from Stirling Way southbound."
