A St Neots couple are gearing up to open their new shop on the town's High Street.
Dave and Sam Whitehouse are the pair behind The Card Station, which is set to open in the old Clintons building in St Neots.
The Card Station will sell greeting cards as cheap as 59p, right up to premium boxed cards at £11.
They will also sell balloons, party gear, gift bags, wrapping paper and a variety of gifts.
Sam is a former accountant and finance manager of 26 years, and Dave has always worked in large retail.
The duo opened up their first shop in Pelsall, West Midlands back in 2017 when Sam's mum decided to retire. Sam and Dave quit their old work lives and pursued their dream to open up The Card Station.
A second shop soon followed in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire in 2019 and a third opened in Lichfield, Staffordshire in 2020.
Now, a fourth shop is set to open in St Neots with an opening date soon to be confirmed.
The pair visited St Neots a year ago when they were looking for a hotel in Cambridge. They ended up stumbling across St Neots, which they described as a "beautiful town full of lovely people".
