A woman has been jailed for her role in a "vicious attack" on a man in his 60s last year.
Kayley Sedgwick, 33, went to Bloomfield Park in Huntingdon with another man on June 28, 2023.
There, they attacked a man in his 60s. The pair caused the victim to fall to the ground, kicked him in the head and stamped on him.
The victim went to hospital for his injuries which included a broken wrist.
Sedgwick was arrested at a property on Ermine Street, Huntingdon, on August 1, 2023. During her arrest, she made a comment to a man in the property and named the victim.
She had named her victim before the arresting officers had revealed his identity, rumbling herself in front of the force.
She later tried to explain what happened by describing a verbal altercation with the victim earlier in the day.
At Cambridge Crown Court on September 2, Sedgwick, of no known address, pleaded guilty to assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
At the same hearing she was jailed for 32 months.
DC Matthew Filby said: "This was a vicious attack and the injuries sustained by the victim could easily have been much worse given the level of violence.
"We will not tolerate violence like this on our streets and we will continue to do all we can to make Cambridgeshire an even safer place to live."
