Two Olympic swimmers officially opened a refurbished 25-metre swimming pool at a Huntingdonshire school.
Kimbolton School's new pool is a state-of-the-art 25 metre swimming pool upgraded from the previous facility. It is designed to support both recreational and competitive swimming.
To celebrate the reopening, two former Olympians, Kevin Burns and Margaret Kelly, were invited to cut the ribbon at the pool and give an inspirational speech on September 7.
Kevin Burns, Britain's first black Olympic swimmer, cut the ribbon. He competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal and at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Alberta.
Margaret Kelly also competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics, the 1978 Commonwealth Games, 1980 Summer Olympics and 1988 Summer Olympics.
She gave a speech to the swimmers about her achievements and showed them her impressive collection of medals, including an Olympic silver.
The Swans Swimming Club Seniors and Kimbolton School students put on a display of swimming demonstrations at the opening, which was also attended by Huntingdon MP, Ben Obese-Jecty.
Mr Obese-Jecty said: "The pool is far more than a private school swimming pool and as a real community asset is used by a host of other schools, clubs, organisations and local residents."
