The owners of a convenience store that was last night targeted by an armed robber have thanked customers for their support.
The Fenstanton Post Office, within the Premier Omia Store, had to close this morning following the incident, which police are currently investigating.
In a statement on their Facebook page, Thayan from the Omia Store said: "We sincerely appreciate your understanding and patient during our closure this morning.

"Your kind and thoughtful messages mean the world to use during this time.
"After completing all necessary procedures, we're happy to inform you that both our shop and the post office are now open and ready to serve you.
"Thank you again for your continued support and care."
