mydentist, the UK's largest dental care provider, has moved to a new site in a Huntingdonshire town in the hopes of expanding its NHS availability.

mydentist in St Neots has made the move to a bigger site on Tebbutts Road, taking up Units D, E and F.

The relocation comes following a £1.5 million investment which has allowed for four new dentists to join the St Neots team in November, expanding future NHS availability for the community.

The new mydentist in St Neots will be accepting NHS patients from November onwards and can now accept new patients under mydentist options, all of which are private.

The old practice had five surgeries, but the new site now has 10 to accommodate the 15,309 mydentist patients in St Neots, as well as many more in the coming months.

To celebrate the relocation, the new practice was officially opened by Practice Manager Charlotte Anthony and her team on Wednesday, September 18.

After 18 months of renovation, all of the dentists and staff from the former site have moved over to the new one, which is fit with improved wheelchair and disabled access.

Charlotte Anthony, practice manager at mydentist St Neots, commented: "I am delighted to reveal the new facilities and flexibility of appointment times that we can now offer to our patients.

"The new practice is across one floor, making it more accessible for patients living with a disability or limited mobility, too.

"In a climate where accessing NHS dentistry is a challenge due to the shortage of dentists nationally, we’re really pleased to have been able to recruit new dentists and ultimately expand our NHS capacity.

"We look forward to welcome patients into the practice over the coming weeks and months."
