Kimbolton Castle will host a historic open day and give guests access to iconic stately rooms that Katharine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry VIII, stayed in.
Attendees will have full access to the castle's State Rooms as well as the Queen's Room, which is where Katharine of Aragon died in 1536 after she was exiled from court.
Visitors to the castle have often said that they have seen Katharine's ghost, but only her head and shoulders are visible.
The former Queen is apparently "oblivious" to the fact that floor levels at Kimbolton Castle have altered since she died.
Open day attendees will also be able to visit the Heritage Room, which traces the castle’s evolution from a Motte and Bailey fortification to its current role as a Cambridgeshire school.
They will also be able to see a special display highlighting the lives of American forces stationed in Kimbolton during World War II.
For the first time in 75 years, two historic Venetian footstools, acquired during Sir John Vanbrugh’s great reconstruction of the castle in the 18th century, will be on display in the Saloon.
Visitors will be able to see the footstools placed exactly as they appeared in a 1911 Country Life magazine photograph.
The castle, which is now home to Kimbolton School, will open its doors to the public on October 6.
Adult tickets are priced at £10, with children under the age of 18 able to enter free of charge, and adults over 65 priced at £7.
