A road in St Neots is set to shut over the weekend while National Highways continues its upgrade work on the A428 from Black Cat roundabout to Caxton Gibbet.
Toseland Road, between the High Street and the junction with the A428 will be closed on both Saturday, September 28 from 7am until 5pm and Sunday, September 29, from 7am to 5pm.
The closure is in place to clear vegetation on Toseland Road.
A diversion route will be in place on both days and is as follows:
- Westbound along the A428 towards St Neots
- Northbound on B1046 Barford Road and Cromwell Road towards Station Road (St Neots Station) and Priory Hill Road
- Along the High Street to Toseland Road junction
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "A signed diversion route will be in place. Please plan your journeys accordingly and allow extra time time.
"We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work."
