A restaurant near St Neots was forced to close yesterday on the same day a cafe shut its doors after days of torrential rain.
Lakeside Kitchen at Wyboston Lakes suffered "significant" flood damage on Saturday, September 29.
It's the third time the restaurant has been forced to close its doors this year after flooding, but owner Richard Bye admitted the team had "been caught short".
He told The Hunts Post: "We've taken a big hit this time and the building has suffered quite serious damage.
"The water has caused the floor to lift so that will all have to be replaced. There's equipment, including freezers, cookers and fridges that we couldn't rescue in time.
"We've lost the whole of October now which is the end of the season for us and we won't open up until the Christmas parties in December."

It comes as residents across St Neots continue to experience significant disruption after the River Great Ouse burst its banks on Thursday.
Flood warnings across Huntingdonshire remain in force after days of heavy rain saw the River Great Ouse reach its highest level since December 2020.
A total of five flood warnings and three flood alerts are in force across the district today (September 29), with the Environment Agency warning residents that "flooding is still possible".
Richard added: "The water will recede over the next three to four days and once that's happened the building will need to dry out, which won't happen as quickly at this time of the year.
"It's going to be at least six to eight weeks before we can open up again. We'll have to foot the bill for it, which we have to do every time it floods unfortunately.
"It's getting to the stage now where I'm going to have to think over the next couple of weeks whether it's worth salvaging, especially with the cost of living."
