The team at a homelessness charity in Cambridgeshire have recently joined in with an epic 450-mile pilgrimage stretching from Wales to Norfolk.

Emmaus Cambridge, who are part of  the Emmaus group, a charity working to end homelessness, decided to join the team from Norfolk and Waveney on their six-week walk across the UK.

The Walk of Kindness began in August at St David's in Wales and has stretched across the UK over the past six weeks, with the team dropping in in Huntingdonshire and East Cambridgeshire.

Emmaus Cambridge CEO, Donna Talbot, and a resident at Emmaus Cambridge, Rikki, joined the team on their walk through St Ives, Earith and Stretham.

Donna said: "Emmaus Cambridge are delighted to be involved in this special fundraiser, especially as it nears its conclusion."

The Walk of Kindness across the UK aims to raise awareness of rising levels of homelessness across the country.

It also aims to generate the funds needed to help more people find a safe home at the Emmaus charity.
