The family of a Huntingdonshire boy diagnosed with a rare form of cancer said they were "blown away" after raising more than £120,000 for life-saving treatment.
Sam and Adam Covington reached out to the local community to help raise funds for their son Jamie to undergo specialist immunotherapy treatment at University Children's Hospital in Tuebingen, Germany.
Jamie, 14, from Godmanchester, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in May 2023 and despite nine rounds of chemotherapy and 23 rounds of radiotherapy, relapsed after just six months.
Local businesses, including pubs, have reached out since the Covington family launched their fundraising appeal in September to offer support and to help arrange upcoming fundraising events.

A number of fundraising events were held at the weekend, including a football tournament at Hinchingbrooke School, a cake sale and raffle at The Black Bull Godmanchester, and a barbeque, live music, raffle and karaoke at The Falcon in Huntingdon.
The events collectively helped raise over £9,000.
Sam said: "The support from the local community in Godmanchester, Huntingdon, and surrounding areas, as well as Royston, in Hertfordshire, where our family is originally from has been mind-blowing.
"We never anticipated how much support we would receive and how the fantastic communities have come together to support Jamie.
"We are incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of our family, friends and strangers who have donated to his GoFundMe page and the amount of people who have approached us to organise fundraisers.
She added: "We can’t thank you all enough. We feel very privileged to live here and be part of this amazing community. Your help and support is giving us the strength to move forward each day and do everything we can for Jamie. Thank you."
A further seven fundraising events have already been organised, including a charity football match at Hinchingbrooke School on October 6 and an 80s party night at the Comrades Club in Godmanchester on November 16.
