A mother who experienced a miscarriage is organising a special tribute for Baby Loss Awareness Week.
From October 9 to 15, St Ives Methodist Church will have a ribbon display on its railings where people can write messages in memory of their babies, regardless of gestation.
The organiser, who curated the event independently, noted the absence of such events in St Ives, aiming to provide solace to grieving parents, grandparents, siblings, and others affected.
A limited number of ribbons will be available at the railings for personalisation.
The church, located opposite the river, offers a serene spot for reflection after viewing the ribbons.

The poignant initiative aims to provide a moment of remembrance amidst difficult times.
The display is a part of nationwide Baby Loss Awareness Week activities, seeking to break the silence surrounding pregnancy and baby loss.
It is open to all who have been touched by such loss, offering a moment of reflection and remembrance.
