Cambridgeshire has a number of pumpkin patches to visit during the weeks leading up to Halloween, so here is a list of where to go for pumpkin picking in 2024.

Families can expect pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, a Jurassic Adventure, a Fairy Tale Village, and lots of beautiful Autumnal photo opportunities and fun for all. 

The pumpkin patch will be open on selected days from October 5-31 with late night openings (until 8pm) also available.

Tickets cost £6.95 per person, with tickets for under 1-year-olds costing £5.

Pumpkins at Freshfields – Ramsey

The farm is extremely popular for families with young children from the surrounding area to have a Halloween inspired day out. 

If you’re planning to visit Freshfields this year, the farm is open October 25-31 from 10am until 5pm.

Entry is free and no booking is required. 

Skylark Maize Maze and Funyard – Week of Wickedness - Wimblington

You can pick your own pumpkin, carve it and watch a spooky magic show. 

Skylark recommends booking in advance to guarantee a spot for the day. 

Under three’s and carers go free, children (three-14) are £16 online (£17 on the gate), adults (15+) are £14 online (£15 on the gate), and a family (two adults, two children OR one adult and three children) is £56 online (£60 on the gate). 

Milton Maize Maze, Rectory Farm, Milton

Located just four miles from Cambridge, the farm has tiny, warty, orange, white and monster pumpkins available, as well as colourful displays of pumpkins and squash. 

Adult and child admission prices to the patch are £8.95 each and children two years and under can enter the patch free of charge. 

Pumpkins range from 75p-£10 depending on size. 

The opening date for this pumpkin patch has not yet been released so make sure to check back for updates.

Cuckoo Bridge Pick Your Own Pumpkins – Somersham

Once again, Cuckoo Bridge aims to create a fun day out for all your family and friends, whilst having the opportunity to pick a wide variety of pumpkins and gourds grown from the fields in time for Halloween. 

Cuckoo Bridge also provides a range of other fun activities for all the family. 

Hill Farm Pick Your Own - Peterborough

This year, the farm has grown 24 different varieties of pumpkin ranging in size, colour, texture and taste.

Booking is not required to the patch, and the opening hours are 

Opening hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 10am-4pm, and are closed Mondays.

Isleham Pick Your Own

The patch is open every day from 10am until 5pm and no ticket or booking is necessary - it is free entry.
