A fast food restaurant in Huntingdon is set to undergo a series of refurbishment works if plans are approved by the council.
Plans have been submitted to Huntingdonshire District Council to refurbish the McDonalds restaurant in Towerfields, Huntingdon.
The application form, submitted with the proposals, reveals that refurbishment work will include respraying the shop front, new drive thru booths and changes to the front of the restaurant.
The description of the plan reads: "Refurbishment of the restaurant including respraying the shopfront, with new drive thru booths and the reconfiguration of the entrance elevation with a replacement door and associated works to the site."
Architectural plans included in the documents show that the new booths will have sliding windows and they could be fit with heaters.
The application was received by Huntingdonshire District Council on October 1, 2024 and was validated on October 14.
The council have sent an internal target date for December 9, 2024.
