Kimbolton School has announced that Year 11 pupil Jess Taylor has been selected for the London and East Region Women’s Emerging Player Programme – a significant milestone in her cricketing journey.
Jess’s selection comes after a remarkable season representing Cambridgeshire at both U15 and U18 levels, as well as the county women’s team.
As the U15 top run scorer and first-choice wicket keeper, she has consistently demonstrated "exceptional talent, leadership, and commitment to the sport".
The Emerging Player Programme is designed to develop elite cricketers by providing access to top-level coaching, specialist support, and regional competitions. This opportunity will allow Jess to further refine her skills and support her progression at the highest levels of the game.
The school says Jess has also been supported by Hunts County Bats.
This recognition reflects not only Jess’s individual excellence but also the strong sporting ethos at Kimbolton School, where pupils are supported in reaching their highest potential. The school looks forward to following Jess’s progress in this elite programme and celebrating her continued successes as she grows in her cricketing career.
