Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company presents Little Mermaid The Ballet in Huntingdon this weekend.
Ariel is a spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, she visits the surface and falls for Prince Eric.
Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to experience life on land.
This is a bespoke ballet choreographed for the Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet Company by artistic director and Royal Ballet trained dancer, Saskia Lockey.
There are two performances on Sunday, November 3, at 12.30pm and 4.30pm, at the
Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre, in Huntingdon.
Tickets are available from the box office at SWEvents.Littleboxoffice.com, for £18/£15.
The Company offers additional technical training and performance opportunities to talented young dancers aged eight to 18 years from across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.
Cast members rehearse once a week in St Neots and use the experience to enhance their existing dance training.
The Company will be auditioning for new members in January 2025
