Ian Sollom MP has said that he found aspects of the Budget announcement "disappointing", and has expressed his worry for his constituents.
The St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire MP raised concerns on how NHS funding, the delivery of East West Rail, and the rise of the bus fare cap would impact people living in St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire.
Mr Sollom said that he "welcomes" the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rachel Reeves', decision to inject money into the NHS.
However, he added that it is "very disappointing" that the funding has not been directed at reducing GP appointment waiting times and increasing access to dentists.
The Liberal Democrat MP said: "There are far too many people in St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire who cannot get an appointment, are stuck on waiting lists for diagnosis or surgery, or even unable to get their medicines."
Mr Sollom has called upon the Labour government to ensure that a "clear timetable" is issued for the delivery of East West Rail.
A consultation into the transport project, which the MP said has "dragged on for years", will launch this month after the government recommitted to delivering the scheme in the Budget on October 30.
The MP said that the government's commitment to East West Rail is "welcome", but he wants to ensure that his constituents are not left in the dark about the plans.
Mr Sollom hit out at the decision to raise the bus fare cap to £3. He said: "In many areas of St Neots and Mid Cambridgeshire the bus services are appalling and it is an insult to charge people more."
Another of his concerns involved the future of the high street, following on from the announcement that employer national insurance contributions will increase.
He said: "It is small businesses that give our high street vibrancy, but with the very tight margins they are operating with we needed to see more support for them in this budget."
