A Huntingdonshire district councillor has been presented with an award to recognise her efforts in the community.
Jo Harvey was given the Grassroots Award 2024 for the work she and her family have done in the Huntingdon North area.
She has supported cricket at the Coneygear Centre, where inclusive sessions are run in partnership with Cricket East and the Community Development Manager.
The club's pavilion is unsafe and no junior cricket takes place.
Her enthusiasm has driven a project which will see a new community pavilion built for the 2025 season.

Her partner, Malcolm, has become a trained coach and supports these sessions.
Her children Andrew and Kathryn also attend these sessions and Kathryn, 10, said: "Thank you for inspiring me to play cricket and getting me to try something new.
"It felt like a beginning of a new sport I still like, it still feels good when I play cricket.
"I still like playing cricket. It helps me believe in myself."
Jo is also a trustee of charity Huntingdon Action Community Project which supports improving wellbeing, including the education of children through learning and creative play.
