A nightclub in a Huntingdonshire town is set to bring back a popular day time event in a bid to keep the local nightlife industry alive.

Following the success of its first-ever daytime event, OutOut Nightclub has announced its day party will return on November 30.

The event is tailored to customers aged 25 and over and promises a "vibrant" social scene during the day, allowing attendees to experience the nightclub scene and still be home by the evening.

OutOut Nighclub launched the event to respond to ongoing challenges faced by the nightlife industry, including rising costs, shifting customer habits and competition from other leisure activities.

The St Ives nightclub said it has faced difficulties in recent years due to rising operational costs and hopes that reviving events such as the day party will create "new opportunities" for growth.

Manager Shannon Critchley said: "Like many venues, we’ve had to innovate to keep up with the changes in the industry.

"The day party allows us to cater to an older crowd who may want to enjoy a great time out without staying late into the night.

"Our first event was a huge success, and we’re excited to make this a regular feature in our calendar.”

The day party will run alongside the club's usual Friday and Saturday sessions between 4pm to 9pm and is designed to appeal to more mature audiences, offering a "lively yet relaxed atmosphere".

The evening aims to foster a safe, fun, and inclusive space for all to enjoy an "unforgettable" night out.

“This night is all about breaking down those barriers and giving everyone the chance to enjoy a night out in a space where they feel truly welcomed.”

Jon Hunt, owner of OutOut Nightclub, added: "We’re all about creating amazing experiences for everyone.

“Working with Rob and hosting Dance Ability and Safe Soulmates is a perfect way to make that happen. We want OutOut to be a place where everyone feels like they can belong and have fun.”
