A trial date has been set next year for a man accused of allowing a fighting dog to be in a public place without being muzzled or on a lead.
Joseph McIver, 34, of Wyton, denied the charge at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Thursday, November 21).

The court listing explains he was allegedly the owner and in charge of an XL bully dog that didn’t have the restraints when out in Wyton on the Hill.
The offence allegedly happened on May 6, 2024.
McIver, of Durham Way, was remanded on unconditional bail for the trial to take place at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on April 22, 2025.
