Murderers, paedophiles and drug dealers are some examples of the criminals from Cambridgeshire that were jailed this month.

November saw several offenders in front of the courts to be sentenced.

Fabio Marzano

Marzano punched a woman in the face and strangled her until she could not breathe. When people arrived to help, Marzano attacked two men and threatened to bite one's ear off.

While on court bail, he attacked another woman and left her with swollen eye socket, cuts and bruising. He has been jailed for 32 months.

Tyler Marshall and Cameron Stokes

(Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Tyler Marshall (20) and Cameron Stokes (23) killed father-of-one, Joshua Barr, in Cambridge in March 2024.

The pair, both of no fixed address, stabbed Joshua Barr before they fled the scene. They attempted to escape to Cardiff, but were stopped by armed police units in Wales.

After a four week trial, the pair were found guilty by the jury of murdering Joshua Barr. Tyler Marshall was jailed for 16 years and Cameron Stokes was jailed for 22.

Sonny Loveridge

(Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Sonny Loveridge, a 26-year-old from Wilburton, was jailed this month for attempted to rob a shop and killing his accomplice during a getaway crash. 

Loveridge drove John Hayden to One Stop in Manea to rob the shop. Hayden entered the shop demanding money from the till, but left empty handed. Loveridge, who was drink driving, drove the pair away.

He then crashed the car into a ditch near Chatteris. Hayden was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Loveridge will now spend 11 years and eight months behind bars.

Levi Gray and Benjamin Hammond

(Image: Cambridgeshire Police)Leverington housemates, Levi Gray (28) and Benjamin Hammond (29), have been jailed for an attack on a man in Wisbech.

The pair punched and kicked the man who was hospitalised with a fractured eye socket and broken leg. 

Levi Gray will spend 26 months in jail, and Benjamin Hammond will spend 21 months behind bars.

Darwood Khan

Darwood Khan hit a woman when driving away from police.Darwood Khan hit a woman when driving away from police. (Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Darwood Khan, from Leeds, was jailed this month after he hit a woman in her 60s when driving away from the police.

Khan, 23, was travelling in Peterborough when he sped away from officers signalling him to stop. He narrowly avoided crashes, drove at excessive speeds and ignored road signals.

His dangerous driving resulted in him hitting a pedestrian who was admitted to hospital with fractures to her right leg. He was jailed for 28 months as a result.

Lee Rider

Lee Rider, from Biggleswade, has been jailed.Lee Rider, from Biggleswade, has been jailed. (Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Lee Rider, a 48-year-old, has been jailed after he targeted a young girl in Huntingdon, telling her that sexual acts would "help his mental health".

He forced her to perform sexual acts and he filmed some of the sex abuse. His offending came to light after the victim confided in someone she trusted.

Rider, from Biggleswade, has been jailed for 13 years after he pleaded guilty to 12 sexual offences.

Bakr Bahroz

Bakr Bahroz has been sentenced to one year in prison.Bakr Bahroz has been sentenced to one year in prison. (Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Bakr Bahroz, 28, has been jailed for one year after a strip search uncovered wraps of cocaine.

Bahroz, from Coventry, was stopped in his BMW in Peterborough after it was flagged to police as uninsured with potential links to drug dealing. He also had no valid driving licence.

Cambridgeshire Police said that what was initially a vehicle stop that uncovered a drug dealer travelling through the county.

Sulejman Dauti and Mehmet Dauti

(Image: Cambridgeshire Police) Sulejman Dauti (23) and Mehmet Dauti (27) were jailed this month after they were found to be dealing cocaine.

Cambridgeshire Police were carrying out a warrant at Cave Industrial Estate in Fen Road in 2023 when they saw Sulejman Dauti hastily driving past them. The vehicle was stopped and Sulejman and Mehmet were found with mobile phones and cash.

The phones were searched and messages linking them to dealing cocaine were uncovered.  Sulejman, of no fixed address, was sentenced to two years and three months in prison.

Mehmet, 27, of Bramblebury Road, Plumstead, Woolwich, was sentenced to a year and eight months in prison.
