Pupils, teachers and parents at a Huntingdonshire infants' school are celebrating a "fantastic" Ofsted result.
A recent inspection at Sawtry Infants' School resulted in the school being rated as "Good" in all five areas of the Ofsted framework - Quality of Education; Personal Development; Behaviour and Attitudes; Leadership and Management and Early Years Provision.
The inspection was held on November 6 and 7.
After "significant changes" at the school, the leadership team say they are "delighted" with the Ofsted outcome.
The report identified that "early reading" was a strength at the school, adding that "rapid improvements" have been made after changes to the phonics programme.
The inspection also found that pupil outcomes are improving and their confidence is improving.
The report reads: "The school has a well-planned personal development programme, supported by the PHSE curriculum."
It praised the school's enrichment experiences, including "International Day" and "When I Grow Up Day".
The inspector found that "pupils, parents and staff acknowledge how the school continues to go from strength to strength", a statement that Headteacher, Mrs Yasmine Trace, said was an "absolute delight" to read.
She said: "It is such a fantastic result and is a tremendous validation of the hard work, care and passion of every member of the Sawtry Infants' School Team.
"Our thanks go out to everyone involved in driving the school forwards, including our wonderful staff, parents, children and governing body, as well as the local community.
"We are a school where everyone is invested in doing the best for the children in our care and I look forward to seeing where out journey takes us next."
The chair of governors, Stuart Curtis, said he was "delighted" that the "positive impact" that the headteacher and her staff are having on children's education and wellbeing has been recognised by Ofsted inspectors.
