A lorry driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A14.
Two articulated lorries were involved in the incident at about 1.15pm yesterday (Monday December 2) on the westbound carriageway near Easton.
One of the lorries left the road and ended up in a ditch after hitting the crash barrier.
The driver of the lorry was freed by the fire service and taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge, with serious injuries. The driver of the other lorry was unhurt.
Officers are keen to gather dashcam footage of both the crash and the events leading up to it.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or believes they saw the vehicles in the build-up to it, should contact the Roads Policing Unit online quoting incident 208 of December 2. Alternatively, call 101.
