A stretch of the A1 northbound was shut this morning (December 4) while Cambridgeshire Police officers located and searched a car.
The force received a report from a HGV driver just before 10am to say they had seen a car off the road in some trees near Eaton Ford, St Neots.
Officers arrived at the scene and closed the road to search for the car. It was located and the force ensured that there was no-one trapped or unwell inside.
