A young rider at the St Ives Cycling Club has finished an impressive ninth place at the Eastern Region Cyclocross Championships.
Charlie Coad, 15, competed in the youth category of the competition, which featured 32 riders under the age of 16.
A spokesperson for St Ives Cycling Club said: "Charlie has only been riding his bike for about 18 months. The future looks bright for him."
The race took place in Trinity Park, Ipswich, and each rider battled it out against one another on a four-lap course which was between 6-8 miles long.
Cyclocross is a form of racing across several different terrains, including grass, road, dirt and sand tracks.
The Ipswich course combined all the elements and featured several tricky hills each rider had to navigate.
Cyclocross riders also have to dismount their bikes and carry them over obstacles.
A muddy Charlie finished the race in 31 minutes and 39 seconds which was only three minutes and 22 seconds behind the winner.
