Students from Huntingdon and St Ives Tang Soo Do clubs are celebrating trophy success at the 2022 Great Britain Tang Soo Do Championships.
More than 400 competitors joined at a packed Ebbw Vale Sports Centre in Wales for a full day of competition across three specific elements of Tang Soo Do: Weapons, Forms and Sparring.
Tang Soo Do is traditional Korean Karate, and 10 students from the Huntingdon and St Ives clubs competed and returned with an impressive haul of 11 trophies across several age groups and belt categories, continuing the success seen at recent previous events.
Many of those competing will now be turning their attention towards the UK National Championships in April 2023 and onwards to the European Championships in May 2023.
Grand Master Khan, 8th Degree Grand Master & Head of GB Tang Soo Do, said: "It was our biggest ever Regional Championship and the largest gathering since Covid, with over 400 competitors from children to adults taking part from right across Great Britain.
"The students from Cambridgeshire had dedicated many hours of their time to training and preparing for this competition.
"The performance of the Huntingdon and St Ives members is a great reflection on that dedication."
