St Neots Town have followed up their recent boxing day match success with a hard-earned point in a 1-1 draw away at Hinckley Leicester Road FC.
In an end-to-end game, both sides went close to finding a winner in the final exchanges but will have to settle for the solitary point as St Neots edge closer to evading the relegation spots.
After a subdued first 15 minutes, St Neots started to pile on the pressure by creating a couple of close chances.
Eventually, after 34 minutes, the pressure told, with Trey Charles opening the scoring for St Neots, evading a tackle and firing a low shot into the bottom right corner.

St Neots searched for a second goal, but Hinckley responded with an equaliser in the second half from a low drive which found the net after 59 minutes.
Both sides had chances to win but managed to cancel each other out for the draw, with St Neots remaining in 19th place.
Next up for St Neots in Northern Premier League Division One Midlands is Yaxley FC for the first home fixture of 2023.
