Godmanchester Rovers marked their return from a two-week break with a seven-goal thriller in freezing temperatures.
Samuel Tagg’s brace and Ben Tait were unable to secure victory for Rovers in their 4-3 defeat to Wellingborough Town in the United Counties League Premier Division South on January 21.
Up next for Godmanchester, due to host March Town at the David Wilson Homes Ground on January 24, 7.45pm, is a home game with Cogenhoe United on January 28, 2pm.
St Neots Town’s trip to Dereham Town in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands was postponed due to a frozen pitch, and next face Shepshed Dynamo this Saturday.
Eynesbury Rovers host Raunds Town in a Hinchingbrooke Cup quarter-final on January 25, before playing Rothwell Corinthians in a league clash on January 28.
Eaton Socon, due to be in Huntingdonshire Senior Cup semi-final action at Yaxley on January 24, face Thame United Reserves in Spartan South Midlands League Division One on Saturday.
