Students from two local World Tang Soo Do clubs joined around 250 competitors at the 2023 Great Britain Tang Soo Do Regional Championships.
This year's event was held at the Eston Leisure Centre in Middlesborough where there was a full day of competition across three specific elements of Tang Soo Do: weapons, forms and sparring.
The clubs also entered a mixed grade team into the team forms competition.
Fourteen students from the St Ives and Huntingdon clubs, along with others from surrounding Cambridgeshire area clubs competed at the event, returning with an impressive haul of trophies across several age groups and belt categories.
Grand Master Khan (8th Degree Grand Master and head of GB Tang Soo Do) said: "This was the first regional championship that Northern Tang Soo Do have hosted for a decade.
"The 2023 championships were well attended and I was pleased that local clubs supported this year’s event.
"Myself and all the local masters, instructors and students are now looking forward to next year when we will celebrate 50 years of the St Ives Tang Soo Do Club which is the oldest club in the country.
