There were some superb results from members of the St Ives Swimming Club at two recent events.

The Peterborough Open Meet took place at Whittlesey over the weekend of December 2/3 with a host of medal placings.

On December 10, club swimmers competed at Luton which also produced some good results.

These were the last competitions before the Christmas break. Chloe Butler and Luke Tunstall will, however, compete at the British National Swimming Championships on December 14 a Ponds Forge in Sheffield.

Over the meetings, six placings were achieved by: Milly Lewis, Camille Palmer, Elizabeth Ballester, Belle Taylor, Antoni Zhurbenko- Saczawa, Maria Zhurbenko Saczawa, Miles Cannon, Lois Cannon, Isabel Martin, Maja Kurkiewicz, Jack Ballester, Annabelle Margot and Lily Margot.
