St Ives Swimming Club has kicked off the new year at pace after a small number of swimmers competed in Derby 50 metre Buxton Open Meet.
The event took place at the weekend and competitors raced in the venue's olympic-sized pool.
The photo by Lisa Pye shows swimmers Belle Taylor, Flo Taylor and Hannah Pye who all put in strong performances.
They were joined by Maria Zhurbenko Saczawa, Antoni Zhurbenko-Saczawa and Finley Terry, all of whom did well at the meet.
Taking two golds were (Finley Terry and Flo Taylor), three silvers went to (Hannah Pye, Flo Taylor and Finley Terry) and two bronze medals were awarded to (Flo Taylor and Finley Terry).
Antoni and Maria put in great performances, gaining life-time best times in the first meet of the season.
"Some great swimming by all our athletes as we go into a Level 1 meet next weekend at Sheffield," said Andy Hunter from the club.
"This will again be in a 50-metre pool, followed by two weekends of county A swimming championships at Cambridge.
