St Neots U16 won through to the County Cup Final on a tight penalty shoot-out at the expense of visiting Godmanchester Rovers.
The home side had reached this semi-final scoring 14 goals in two matches without conceding but a late second half goal by the visitors sent the tie into a sudden death finish.
In a fairly even first half neither side dominated with both goalkeepers making significant saves.
St Neots opened the scoring 12 minutes after the break when substitute Jake Bell beat the visiting keeper with a well-struck free kick.
Twelve minutes from time the visitors levelled and only a full length save from Jack Anderson late in the game sent the tie into that shoot-out.
The visitors took the first penalty and the first six kicks were successful but when the visitors saw their fourth penalty saved by goalkeeper Will Fisher, St Neots rounded off their victory taking five perfect penalties from Billy Olive, Jake Bell, Finlay Clarke, Sam Truche-Gordon, and Adam Guermech.
Final Score: St Neots Town U16s 1 - Godmanchester Rovers U-16s 2 (St Neots won 5-4 on penalties)
St Neots: Blocksidge, Olive, Alexander, Quenet, Truche-Gordon, Pendrick, Clarke, Oakley, McCann, Thomas, Guermech
