Warren Gunn reports on a boxing show in St Neots on October 20 featuring boxers from Cambridgeshire.

The show took place at the Lee Kemp Boxing Academy based at Eynesbury Rovers Football Club.

The event featured boxers from four gyms in the region, including Eddie's Gym which is based in Fordham.

This was the second show to take place at the Lee Kemp Boxing Academy, and this event saw many of the participants making their competitive debuts.

A sell-out crowd saw boxers from as young as 10 fight for medals.

The event was a huge success and founder of the gym, Lee Kemp, said afterwards: "We are extremely grateful to the other gyms, the staff at Eynesbury Rovers and a massive 'thank you' to my team.

"Without their help none of this would be possible. Next year we will be putting on three shows on a much bigger scale."

"Our gym is about providing an outlet to keep youngsters off the streets, to prevent them from getting into trouble or hanging around with the wrong crowd. Trying to  help change youngsters lives and give them self confidence and respect."
