A squash festival featuring players from Huntingdonshire has been hailed as a success.
The Sports Academy Open, held at Hunts County Squash Club in Hemingford Grey, ran for the third consecutive year, offering three days of expanded format competition.
The event also facilitated school outreach work, with more than 70 children from Hemingford Primary School attending the opening round.
They witnessed a match between local player Malik Bilen and Oliver Ramsay from the City of Peterborough, among other highlights.
Saturday mixed professional and local competitive squash, with the Hunts County Adult Graded event taking place alongside the PSA (Professional Squash Association) championships.
Victorious players included Sam Henden in the A-Grade, Connor Harmer in the B-Grade, and Charlie in the C-Grade.
The festival concluded with the PSA event finals and the debut fixture of the Cambs Junior League.
In the men's final, Sam Todd claimed the title in a match against Heston Malik.
The festival wrapped up with the new Cambs Junior League format, aiming to enhance the competitive experience for young players across Cambridgeshire.
